If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know that I’ve recommended GAT Nitraflex as a pre-workout for over 4 years now.
In fact, I previously listed it as one of the best pre workouts on the market, in 2016. This holds true today.
Today however, I’d like to present a full Nitraflex review. Here’s some of what we’ll cover in this article:
So, strap in, grab yourself some coffee (or pre-workout), and get ready for my in-depth review of Nitraflex by GAT.
This is going to be a pretty long article, so I want to give you the Cliff’s notes here. If you want to learn more, you can read the entire article.
Overall, Nitraflex gets a 5/5 stars from me. It’s powerfully dosed, has a great lineup of ingredients, tastes great, and is not that expensive.
When compared to something like the C4 pre workout, it’s in a completely different league. Nitraflex is my go-to workout for all my lifts.
The ingredients are top of the line, with 325mg of caffeine, a ton of pump-enhancing ingredients, and even a testosterone boosting ingredient.
It’s got caffeine, DMAE, and L-Tyrosine for focus. It’s got two forms of Citrulline and Arginine for pumps.
…and best of all, it’s got Calcium fructopyranose borate, or CFB for short, to boost your testosterone by up to 28%.
Nitraflex is one of the best ways to instantly improve your performance in the gym. You’ll be stronger, have more endurance, and have more focus.
The benefits of Nitraflex reach far beyond the gym, however, since it’s packed with powerful nootropics and cognitive enhancers, too.
Not many pre-workouts have ingredients like Resveratrol or Pterostilbene, which are powerful antioxidants that improve your overall health.
With Nitraflex however, the list of benefits is quite long. From enhanced performance in the gym, to more testosterone, and even anti-aging effects, it’s safe to say that Nitraflex is one of the best pre-workouts on the market.
The taste of Nitraflex is great, but that’s not saying much. Most pre workouts taste good, so this is a pre-requisite, in my opinion.
The cost however, is not much at all. In fact, you can get a full 30 servings of Nitraflex for just $32 on Amazon, which is about $1.07 per serving.
All in all, Nitraflex is a great pre-workout, for both beginners and experts alike. Now, let’s explore some of the ingredients more in-depth.
First off, let’s take a look at the ingredients in Nitraflex. You’ll notice that one serving contains 7,240mg of their proprietary “Nitraflex Blend.”
Nitraflex contains a number of ingredients, but they’re divided up into three distinct blends, or “complexes”:
If I lost you there for a second, bare with me. I’m going to simplify things for you, since I’ve been in this industry for a while.
The first complex, is basically just for pumps. This enhances blood flow to the muscles, so you can lift more, and get way better “pumps.”
The second complex, is essentially just for energy and focus. It’s got quite a few powerful nootropics in it, that we’ll review in a second.
The third complex, is the most impressive, in my opinion. It contains Calcium fructopyranose borate, or CFB, which has been clinically proven to boost testosterone.
So, you can literally crush the gym, with laser-focus and limitless energy, AND boost your testosterone in the process. How’s that for a pre workout?
The pump complex has a ton of ingredients which will enhance blood flow to the muscles. This is important for two reasons.
First off, more blood in your muscles during a workout, means they get more oxygen. This will enhance your strength and endurance in the gym.
Second, more blood means better pumps… and as Arnold Schwarzenegger said it best, the pump is better than cumming.
The Nitraflex “pump complex” has the following ingredients:
Nitraflex has two forms of Citrulline and L-Arginine, both of which have been clinically proven to enhance the cardiovascular system.
This means you’ll lift more weights, have more endurance, and get one hell of a pump after you finish your workout.
It’s also got a dose of Resveratrol for you, which is naturally extracted from red grape skins, and has a ton of benefits.
Resveratrol has been shown to have a number of benefits, such as improving brain function, and regulating blood pressure.
In fact, it’s why they put it in bodybuilding multivitamins, like Animal Pak, for example. Reservatrol is great for weight lifters, because it helps balance out the blood pressure increase you get from pre workouts (and steroids).
Lastly, there’s Pterostilbene, which not many people have heard about. It’s essentially a potent polyphenol, which improves memory, learning, and has a ton of anti-aging properties.
So, not only does their “pump” complex help you get jacked faster, but it even enhances brain function? Count me in.
The energy complex, or the “Acute Energy, Focus, Intensity, Neuro-Modulating, Endurance Complex,” as they like to call it, is second to none.
I’ve taken a ton of pre-workouts in my life, and Nitraflex absolutely ACES the balance between “too much energy” and “too little.”
Some pre-workouts, like Stim Lord for example, are just loaded with stimulants, to the point where it’s too damn much.
I don’t want to have a fucking heart attack on my pre-workout, but I do want to be laser-focused and filled to the brim with energy.
This is exactly what Nitraflex does for me. Here’s how:
The first ingredient is Beta Alanine, which is a powerful antioxidant that decreases muscle fatigue, and has immune-enhancing properties.
The second, is caffeine—we all know what this is. Thankfully, Nitraflex has a whopping dose of 325mg of caffeine, which is just enough to give you long-lasting energy, but not so much that you get the jitters.
The benefits of caffeine go far beyond increasing energy, though. Caffeine also boosts metabolism, so you can get shredded faster than before.
Then, there’s DMAE—the magic ingredient in Nitraflex. It works by increasing production of acetylcholine, which is a powerful neurotransmitter associated with focus and cognition.
L-Tyrosine is another great ingredient, which is used by your body to create dopamine, the ultimate motivation neurotransmitter.
What really makes Nitraflex stand out, however, is the Theanine they put in there. This, in my opinion, is a genius move on their part.
Most pre-workouts just stuff their shit with an overload of stimulants, and when you take it, you feel like you’re about to die of a heart attack.
Not Nitraflex, though. It’s got a ton of energy-enhancing ingredients, but also ingredients to “level off” the jitteriness you can sometimes get.
Theanine does just this. It’s an amino acid, naturally found in green tea, which is known to work very synergistically with stimulants.
In other words, when you take stimulants with Theanine, you get the energy benefits of the stimulants, but you’re also calm, centered, and FOCUSED, from the Theanine.
This is why I love Nitraflex so much. It’s clear that they actually took the time to think about their ingredient complex, rather than just slapping a bunch of stimulants together, and selling it for $49.99 a pop.
In addition to this, there’s Rauwolfia Canescenes, which is a plant native to Central America associated with lowering blood pressure.
Again, this is why Nitraflex stands out. It’s not just a bunch of random stimulants thrown into a bag. It’s powerful stimulants, but also powerful calming agents, carefully mixed together.
That way, you get laser focus and limitless energy, but WITHOUT the jitteriness that often comes from taking too much pre workout.
Ah, the moment we’ve all been waiting for—does Nitraflex really boost testosterone like it says? Well, the answer is an unequivocal: YES!
Calcium fructopyranose borate, one of the ingredients in Nitraflex, has been shown to increase testosterone in men by up to 28%!
In a study published in the Integrative Medicine Clinician’s Journal, researchers found the following:
“After only 1 week of boron supplementation of 6 mg/d, a further study by Naghii et al of healthy males (n = 8) found (1) a significant increase in free testosterone, which rose from an average of 11.83 pg/mL to 15.18 pg/mL; and (2) significant decreases in E2, which dropped from 42.33 pg/mL to 25.81 pg/mL.”
In other words, after supplementing with boron for just one week, healthy males had a drastic increase in testosterone.
…and thankfully for you, the calcium fructopyranose borate found in Nitraflex, is one of the most bio-available forms of boron around.
So, when you take Nitraflex, not only can you get jacked, have better workouts, and more energy, but you can boost testosterone, too.
Taking pre workout has a ton of benefits, and Nitraflex is no exception. Whenever I take Nitraflex, my workouts are always killer—and whenever I don’t, they usually suck.
Here are some benefits of taking Nitraflex:
All of the ingredients in Nitraflex work synergistically, to give you the best damn workout possible—no joke.
I’ve been taking pre workouts for years now, and Nitraflex is always my go-to pre workout. I take it almost every single day, unless I’m trying out a new pre workout to review for you guys.
Hell, sometimes I’ll even take Nitraflex with Adderall or Modafinil, to get an extra kick. I do not recommend this for beginners, though.
If you’re a beginner, just take half a scoop of Nitraflex, and see how you feel. If you feel good, consider taking another half, for one full scoop.
Now… with all of the great benefits of Nitraflex, I’m sure you’re wondering if there’s any side effects.
Fortunately, unless you take too much, there isn’t. When you take the recommended dosage of Nitraflex, there will be no side effects.
If you have a heart condition you shouldn’t take pre-workout to begin with. Aside from that though, the side effects are minimal.
You might get some jitteriness or insomnia if you take way too much pre workout in general, but aside from that, it’s side effect free.
All in all, Nitraflex is one of the best pre-workouts on the market. It’s got a ton of benefits, both in the gym, and outside of it.
Nitraflex has been clinically proven to enhance focus, improve energy, and even boost testosterone. Not many pre-workouts can say this.
If you do decide to get a pre-workout, make it Nitraflex. It’s available on Amazon, and is eligible for 2-day shipping, as well.
If you feel like I left anything out of this review, just let me know in the comments section down below… and as always, I’ll see you next time!
Actually yes, it does. GAT Nitraflex is one of the few pre workout supplements that has been clinically proven to increase your testosterone levels. It accomplishes this by using an ingredient called Calcium fructopyranose borate, or CFB for short.
Calcium fructopyranose borate, or CFB for short, has been proven to boost your testosterone levels by up to 28% in clinical studies. So, if you're looking for a pre workout that increases testosterone, GAT Nitraflex is a great one for you to pick.
Any pre workout can have side effects, especially if you're sensitive to stimulants. That being said, I love taking GAT Nitraflex every time I hit the gym, because it's very powerful, while at the same time not so strong that I get uncomfortable or jittery.
It's best to take a pre workout around 30 minutes before you hit the gym on an empty stomach. Be sure that you haven't eaten anything in at least 2 hours, otherwise the pre workout won't hit you as hard. Personally, I hit the gym on an empty stomach, so Nitraflex hits me hard.
Nitraflex, a pre workout designed and manufactured by GAT, has 325mg of caffeine per full scoop. This is a relatively high amount of caffeine for pre workouts, considering that many pre workouts only have 200mg of caffeine, and some don't have any.
If you're sensitive to caffeine, you may want to start off with half a scoop to assess your tolerance. Most people can handle 325mg of caffeine in a pre workout, but if you have any sort of sensitivity to stimulants, it's always better to start off with less than more.
