So you want to improve your life? Well yeah, so does everyone else.
Everyone wants to have the perfect job. They want to get paid millions doing something that they love, all the while getting crazy benefits and having months of paid vacation every year.
Everyone wants to have the perfect girl. They want some gorgeous model, who’s a great cook, super intelligent, and also super sweet and willing to stay loyal.
Everyone wants to have the perfect lifestyle. They want to be able to work from wherever they want in the world, without having to wake up early or stay out late.
Despite this common desire to improve your life, however, very few people actually do so. Here’s why.
I’ve been actively involved in improving myself for a pretty long time now, and I’ve learned plenty of life lessons along the way. Some I learned by making mistakes, others I learned by watching others make mistakes.
The beautiful thing about these lessons is that they apply to any discipline you’re trying to improve: fitness, health, game, your mind, emotional health, business, lifestyle, ANYTHING.
If you’re smart, you’ll remember these life lessons for yourself and learn from my experience. Some of them may not make any sense for you right now, but in a year or two they’ll be the most profound things you’ve ever read.
Regardless, I hope that you get the most out of these. Here’s the top life lessons that I’ve learned on this journey.
There’s a lot of hype over supplements nowadays. Everyone wants the latest pre-workout. Hypershock rage, C4, Jack3d, nano vapor…the list goes on and on.
And while pre-workouts do have some ingredients in them that have been scientifically proven to enhance your workouts, you don’t need them.
In fact, you don’t really need any supplements. They can help, but they aren’t necessary.
Maybe you’re against pre-workouts, because you don’t like putting 8 different types of stimulants in your body. I get it. Or maybe you just don’t want to spend the money—that’s fine, too. Either way, here’s my all natural pre-workout.
Having good habits or bad habits can be the difference between success and failure, riches and poverty, or happiness and misery.
Depending on your habits, you will either be a highly successful man, financially and emotionally, or a complete loser with zero girls, zero money, and a bunch of fake friends.
That’s why it’s so important to have good habits—they are literally the foundation upon which you improve yourself.
Good habits not only improve the quality of your life, but they also improve the quality of your life, too. Here’s 4 of the best habits that every man should practice.
We live in a culture that shoves lies and untruth down our throats from a young age, and unfortunately, most of us are too brainwashed to see this.
We live in an overly-effeminate society, where feelings are more important than facts, and where the cold, hard truth, is often ignored. This cannot be sustained indefinitely.
Every single man is fed these 5 dirty lies from the time that he’s born. We’re brainwashed to believe them by our society, by the media, and sometimes even by our parents.
But don’t worry. If you can learn to recognize them, you can eliminate them from your life.
Meditation is, perhaps, one of the best habits that a man could ever have. It will make you calm, collected, and focused on your purpose. But what if you don’t know how to meditate?
That’s fine. Meditation is actually quite simple, but plenty of “gurus” insist on complicating it. I remember when I first started trying to learn, and it was so confusing!
Every so called expert has some weird different technique or way of meditating, but it doesn’t have to be that way—in fact, I’ve broken it down in to 5 simple steps. Here’s how to meditate for beginners.
How do you boost your immune system naturally? As someone who’s been sick many times throughout his life, I’ve struggled with this question a lot. Is it what you eat? Is it how much you exercise? Or maybe it’s your emotional state?
In reality, if you want to boost your immune system you’re going to have to cover a lot of bases. There isn’t just “one thing,” that will fix all of your problems.
If you want to boost your immune system naturally, you need to make sure that you’re going to approach the problem with a nuanced, multi-pronged solution: physical, emotional, hormonal, and more.
Being in great physical condition, but being lonely as hell isn’t good—and neither is having a great social life, but having the testosterone of a baby girl. We need to balance multiple areas of your life to achieve this goal.
Here’s how to boost your immune system naturally.
I know two heroin addicts—in fact, I’d say I’m pretty close to them. They’re both family members.
Both of them had dysfunctional upbringings: verbally and physically abusive fathers, and emotionally dysfunctional mothers. Both of them ruined a large portion of their lives with heroin.
One of them decided to step into the light some 25 years ago—he now has a wife, two kids, and a nice house by the ocean side.
The other had his wife divorce him, his family disown him, and eventually became homeless. He stuck himself with a dirty needle, and ended up in the hospital with a deadly heart infection. As he struggled to stay alive, he phased in and out of consciousness for days.
Suddenly, he awoke, gasping for air, and in one agonizingly lucid epiphany, he realized that he had wasted his entire life.
He broke down into tears, begging God for a second chance. Unfortunately, he passed away later that night. Often, we don’t realize the consequences of our actions until it’s too late.
In a previous article on The Way of Men, I presented a very practical, straight forward explanation of what it means to be a man.
Biologically, men are designed to protect the tribe from outside threats; this was their purpose for millions of years.
However, masculinity goes much deeper than man’s physical function. Masculinity is also spiritual—it’s those “Yang” characteristics that merge so well with a woman’s “Yin.”
To clarify, I am not confirming nor denying the existence of a non-physical world. When I say the word “spiritual,” I am referring to things which are greater than man, yet that he embodies and strives for; purpose, direction, and perseverance, among other things, are spiritual characteristics of man.
The goal of this article is to explain masculinity and in a deeper way. Man is more than just his physical purpose; he is also his spiritual purpose.
One of the most common questions that I get asked is: “How do I boost testosterone levels?”
Why do I get asked this question so much? Well, because testosterone levels are at an all time low nowadays. With artificial ingredients, GMO’S, parabens, and phyto-estrogens lowering this man-hormone, it’s no wonder that so many modern men are highly effeminate.
Testosterone is an anabolic androgenic hormone, which means it’s responsible for muscle growth, confidence, assertiveness, a sense of well-being, energy, and libido levels.
In short, the more testosterone that you have, the better your life will be. It’s no coincidence that high-achieving men also have high levels of testosterone.
Unfortunately, however, our society is littered with things that decrease testosterone levels: pthalates, soy, petro-chemicals, political correctness, a complete lack of male role models, and more. It’s almost like there’s a war against masculinity.
Fortunately, however, it’s very possible to increase your testosterone levels. In fact, using the following tips, I increased my testosterone by around 75%.
