Here’s the good news… everyone has an Adonis belt. Even if you’re 100 pounds overweight, you’ve got an Adonis belt somewhere under that fat. I guarantee it.
Here’s the bad news, though. Most people don’t know how to get an Adonis belt, because there’s a ton of myths and bullshit out there lying to you.
With that in mind, let me teach you how to get an Adonis belt… without exercise, and without having to do endless crunches. Here we go.
Take a look at the picture above. That’s a guy named Adonis, who, according to ancient Greek history, seduced Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty.
According to mythology, he was the most attractive being to ever walk the face of the earth… and all of the lady goddesses wanted him.
This is who the Adonis belt is named after. Rightly so, having an Adonis belt is one of the best symbols of beauty, health and fertility.
An “Adonis belt” is just that little groove that goes around your waist (seen in the pictures here). And today, I’ll teach you how to get one.
…but first, we need to understand why exercising does NOT help you get an Adonis belt, and how it can actually hurt you (sometimes).
Take a look at the images above. Those are some pictures of me that I took at the gym… and it’s pretty clear that I not only know how to get a six pack, but also how to get an Adonis belt.
I know a thing or two about health and fitness, and one thing I know for sure is this… there’s a SHIT TON of myths in this industry.
One of the biggest myths out there, is that you can do exercises to get a better Adonis belt. This is 100% bullshit. Complete utter hogwash.
This is one thing that pisses me off about the fitness industry. It’s literally so filled with bullshit, that you could weigh it in metric tons.
Here are some common bullshit articles you’ll see out there:
Despite the fact that these dumb articles are talking about Adonis belt exercises, you LITERALLY can’t even exercise your Adonis belt.
Why? It’s simple. Your Adonis belt is actually a LIGAMENT, not a muscle. So, in other words, you can’t increase the size of it, since it isn’t a muscle.
The Adonis belt is actually known as the “iliac furrow” in medical terms. It’s a small band of connective tissue that helps hold your body together.
To put it simply, no amount of crunches, sit ups, or exercises will grow your Adonis belt. So, with that in mind, let’s talk about how to actually get one.
Now, let’s talk about how to actually get an Adonis belt.
I’ve already established that most fitness articles are bullshit, so let’s talk about the truth for a second.
The ONLY way to get an Adonis belt, is to simply shred fat, and diet down to a certain percentage of bodyfat. That’s it. There’s no other way.
Your Adonis belt will naturally show when you’re below 12% bodyfat, and even then, no amount of workouts or exercises will make it pop more.
In a nutshell, here is how you get an Adonis belt:
That’s it. There’s no magic bullet or quick fix that’s going to give you an Adonis belt overnight. It will take some hard work and dedication.
That being said, you can actually get an Adonis belt a lot faster than you think… but only if you know exactly how to do it the right way.
Now, I already said that your Adonis belt isn’t a muscle… so you can’t technically increase the size of it, or make it pop more.
…BUT, that being said, following a good workout routine, you can get an Adonis belt really fast. A lot faster than you think, in fact.
The reason why is simple. Working out helps you build muscle and burn fat, so you’ll be able to make your Adonis belt show faster.
Working out not only burns calories, but it also builds muscle… and the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn on a daily basis.
So, with this in mind, how do you work out for an Adonis belt? You start by choosing a good workout routine that fits your schedule and time constraints.

In addition to doing a regular workout, I recommend you also implement some abdominal exercises into your workout.
An Adonis belt looks good by itself, but when you have an Adonis belt AND six pack abs? Oh my God, it looks incredible.
Here’s three of the best six pack exercises I know of:
I’ve built my six pack literally just using these three simple exercises. You can do more if you like, but these three are a great foundation.
To do this exercise, you simply grab the rope and hook it up to a machine. If you go to the gym regularly, you’ll know the rope I’m talking about.
Then, you face the opposite direction. Pull the rope, so that each end is on either side of your head. Then, crunch to the ground.
That’s one rep. You can play around with the weight, but be sure to do higher reps and less weight. Abs respond best to volume, not weight.
For this exercise, you need a pull up bar. Go find one, and jump up onto it, hanging from your hands (this requires some decent grip strength).
Next, you just raise your legs in front of you, so that they’re 100% parallel to the ground. Then, put them back down so they’re hanging. That’s one rep.
This is an advanced exercise that takes some practice, but once you get it, it’s one of the best abs exercises on the planet.
This forms the bread and butter of my six pack abs workout… and the good news is it’s a lot easier to do than hanging leg raises.
Just get an exercise ball, and lie your back on it. Plant your feet on the ground, and do a sit up.
The reason this works so well, is because with an exercise ball’s arch, you can fully arch your back, so you get a wider range of motion for crunches.
I don’t usually count the reps I do for this. I just do 4-5 sets to failure, or in other words, until I can’t do any more reps, because my abs are too sore.
The most important part of getting an Adonis belt, is to diet properly. Without a low enough bodyfat percentage, you won’t have an Adonis belt.
Like I said before, getting an Adonis belt is mostly diet. You need to be below 12% bodyfat for it to start showing, and below 10% for it to REALLY start to be noticeable.
Dieting for the Adonis belt is simple:
That’s pretty much it. If you want to get an Adonis belt, you’ll need to eat below your maintenance caloric intake, so that you lose weight.
In addition to this, I also recommend intermittent fasting. It’s a great way to burn fat rapidly, and boost testosterone levels.
To calculate your goal protein intake, figure out how much you want your lean bodyweight to be. In other words, how much do you want to weigh?
If you want to weigh 175 pounds, then eat 175 grams of protein per day. If you want to weigh 160 pounds, then eat 160 grams of protein per day.
Here are some foods that are high in protein:
I recommend you get an app to count your calories at first. I don’t use one anymore, but that’s because I know all the nutritional values by heart, and I just keep track of everything in my head.
Lastly, eat more complex carbohydrates and leafy greens. Simple carbs like donuts, cake, and bread increase your insulin rapidly.
If you’re trying to shred fat, this is a big no-no. You want less insulin, and since complex carbs digest slowly, this is what they accomplish.
Generally speaking, if you just avoid anything that’s extremely sweet, you’ll be good. Sorry fat ass, but you’ll have to stop eating all those donuts.
Lastly, add some more vegetables to your diet. Eat more leafy greens, and eat a ton of cruciferous vegetables (which boost your testosterone).
Avoid testosterone killing foods and follow the nutrition advice I just gave you, and you’ll have an Adonis belt in no time.
Sleep is often the most under looked part of every man’s life. We live in a world where getting 6-7 hours of sleep a night is normal.
Unfortunately, this is NOT good for muscle recovery. When you’re in the gym you tear your muscles down, and sleeping builds them back up.
So, if you want to get an Adonis belt, you need to aim for at least 8-9 hours of sleep a night. Personally, I get nine hours each night.
Use some of the sleep bio-hacking tools I recommend to recover faster while you sleep, as well. If you do this, you will recover twice as fast in half the time.
Be sure to also take a break from work every now and then, and de-stress. While I’m a little bit hesitant to say this, because most people are lazy in general, if you’re a hard worker it’s important to relax sometimes.
